Hi! New to the forum. I've been lurking for a while now. Converted to hanging two years ago. I switched to hammock camping to use in conjunction with kayak river fishing/expeditions (gravel bars are not comfortable to sleep on). Now that I'm off of the ground I won't go back. I found I was able to streamline my kayak load by getting rid of the tent. I've been slowly tweaking my gear since I started. I also started utilizing my hammock for bow hunting/camping trips. Lots of great info here. Love the forum!
