That's rite. Not a lot of water there. The well is pretty dry. There is a small stream near by. Don't know if it will still be flowing

I was out in Harriman last weekend and ther was plenty of water running still. If the well is not going strong I would bet there is water south of the shelter at the stream marked by a cairn on the trail a few hundred yards down trail. Also the bugs are in full force out there. I wore a head net most of the weekend and not enough bug repellent to keep the skeeters off.

Yea. Had the same problem last weekend. I'm hoping no bugs!! Weather said 43deg Friday night! Maybe that will keep some bugs out!

I've been meaning to get in touch with you! I'm hoping for some free time to get to Harriman, I've never been up there. I'd like to do a short overnighter to shake out my new gear/ set-up.
