Just got a Polyd hammock from dutchware and love it. No stretch, great flat lay. The only issue is static. Will this dissipate? Is there anything I can do to make it better?

You just have to stand on your head in the hammock and the static will go away.

I use a static spray like Static Guard brand.
Don't let life get in the way of living.
I wanted to avoid sprays because I don't want to attract bugs but I guess it's worth a try..
Soak it in permethrin and then spray it ... it makes it a bug zapper without the zap!
I think it's inherent to polyester. So a spray may be the only (albeit undesirable & temporary) solution.
My issues with static dissipate almost immediately, once there's a little oil transferred from skin to hammock.

I've never had any static issues at all with ripstopbytheroll's polyester fabric as hammock. Wonder why.
I kind of like the static. Get up in the night to go to relieve myself and run my hands over the hammock to play with the static some before I get back in.
Keep movin', keep believing and enjoy the journey!
