I've also experimented with one of those wrap-around pillows you see on airplanes. It works for me turned upside down so the two ends extend toward the top of my head and the crossover cradles my neck. It's a bit heavier than I'd like so have considered doing a DIY with the case but using down instead of the polyester fill.
That sounds like a good idea. Of course I doubt the fabric is down proof, so you'd have to make some sort of bag out of down proof fabric to go inside or either turn the cover inside out and sew a down proof shell inside it.
Two heads are good, three are great, but all heads at hammockforums is the best case scenario!

I've tried every pillow in my house and jacket wadded up and still can't find one that's small and soft enough. Bought one of horse shoe pillows, to big under neck. My ahe cub is supposed to be here sat. Had Paul make it soft. Hopefully it work. I just need a little under my neck and let the back of my head rest on the hammock.

you're pretty happy with it? I've had my eye on this. I rarely need a pillow, but if it could double as my clothing stuff sack, I might like to get one as well.

my favorite pillow is the "cub" by arrowhead equipment!

It's just the right size, hangs by shock cord from the ridgeline, and compresses down reasonably small!

So I have to change my answer from the 1st page of this thread. I recently purchased a Wilderness Logics pillow and its pretty awesome. It gives me just enough support under my neck & I can hang it from my hammock so it doesn't fall out everytime I get out. Love it !

I have had great luck with my Exped medium pillow. It is shaped so it won't shoot out from under my head.

I've been using a medium size Therm-a-Rest compressible pillow. Its pretty comfortable, but takes up so much space in the pack. I just got back from a trip and I'm seriously considering ordering a Sea to Summit Aeros Premium large. Just wish I could catch on one sale... $45 is a little high

I had UGQ make me a small down pillow, it is just enough to go under my neck. It has a cord on it so that it can be attached to the hammock so that it does not fall out or end up under you when getting in. I like it and it packs up with my quilt.
