    Wool and fleece?

I have two Junglenest hammocks that I haven't even had a chance to hang yet. I'm already worring about insulation. Has anyone ever tried to use a fleece bag with a wool blanket folded around it?
If I can just get through late Spring and early Fall I will get a couple of regular UQs. I have a full length Therm A Rest but I'm thinking about a Gossamer Gear 1/4" pad.
I have almost no $$ left in the budget for more gear for now so any suggestions would be welcome and appreciated.

My 30 degree bag went missing after a move last year.

I made due with a 60 degree northface bag that I put a diy fleece topquilt inside of. Used a ccf pad below. Wearing heavy base bottoms, smart wool socks and my fleece jacket I was good down to 40 degrees. It's probably comparable to your suggestion. Do a backyard test.

I am thrilled to have upgraded to a climashield UQ and a 40 degree down bag this year!

Thanks Monkeyboy42 that gives me hope since it doesn't really get that cold in Alabama this time of year. I will give a backyard test then get out there.

I'd use the pad, fold the fleece around it and use the blanket over me. Fleece over pad lets it breathe a bit so you do not get the body contact condensation.
    YMMV
