Dutch argon right and wrong side out?

Alright I would swear I read it somewhere but now I cant find it. On Dutch's argon 90, which side is out, shiny or dull? Or does it matter?

IMO it would depend on what you are making. If it’s a hammock I would have the shiny side out but if it’s something with down the dull side out.

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but from my understanding the shiny side is the calendared side. Usually these fabrics have DWR on both sides, but if its only on one side it would be on the dull (no calendared) side. You want the calendared side in because its what keeps the down in and I believe it to be less durable. I also prefer the feel and look of the non-calendared side.

Also, this should probably be in the fabrics subforum...

It's for a down uq, so yes, I'll put the shiny side in. thanks Kduvey.
