    It's good to MYOG again

I'm finally getting back into the swing of things with my hammocking (pun intended), but my Grand Trunk Ultralight went missing, which left me without a hammock. The only reasonable response to such a crisis would be to make a new hammock, but alas, I am 2700 miles away from my thread injector right now. As such, I had to settle on buying and modding a new hammock. I got myself a Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter and some Amsteel so I could make a new suspension and a structural ridgeline. I finished up all of my work on the rig just a little while ago, and I found the whole process to be rather cathartic, especially after being away from it for a while. I'm sure y'all can relate.

I wasn't sure what you meant by cathartic so i looked up the word in websters dictionary and the meaning of the word is as followes - cathartic -a medicine that causes the bowels to be purged :,,
So i am still not sure what your trying to say??

If your in a place where your stuff can easilly go missing then i suggest you grab a Yukon hammock or two, atleast you wont be out alot of money if they go missing,, therfore you may avoid the urge to purge..

Okay, so maybe a more appropriate term may be "theraputic".

As for the missing hammock, I'm pretty sure it's buried somewhere in the bottomless pit that is my garage, so I have no one to blame but myself.

Setting aside the common use for cathartic... You know how great it feels to take a massive dump.. I imagine that's how the OP feels!

Not quite what I was describing, but I do know the feeling you're talking about, too...

That made me disrupt a quiet room with laughter as well. I then had to explain what it was I was laughing about because once people hear you laughing about something, they just HAVE to know...
