You know, we have reached the point where, no matter what, we are going to be "stepping on someones toes" somewhere. There just are not enough weekends to schedule around everyone. There seems to be hangs EVERY weekend, somewhere, these days.
You just have to schedule your hangs and go on. We should be glad there are such a abundance of events to choose from

As CoreyR stated and I agree with him and have said the same thing in the past. Too many hangs, not enough weekends.

I say the more hangs the better. Another hobby I am involved in has events every weekend. Just have to pick and choose.
    Straight out of Clayton.

Most physical hike: Grandfather Mountain, NC. Aug 13.

I don't need to make my pack lighter. I need to make my (_*_) lighter.

They didn't want to do the Yates hang on Halloween weekend last year, they moved it out a week. I'm guessing they may do the same this year.

I'm looking forward to this hang and plan to bring my wife and pair of gremlins. I'm still working on acquiring gear for the gremlins. I will fill in the spreadsheet as we get closer to the hang with our arrival time, meals to share, and any gear that I may still need. Happy Hanging until then.
