Does anyone know the size and weight capacity of the s biners shipped on HG under quilts? One of mine broke and I want to replace that piece.

Give Hammock Gear a shout for accurate info but from memory I think mine were Nite-Ize plastic ones. The dimensions for size 2 looks about right from my memory. Package says size 2, 10 lbs.
In checking these out just found out I used the metal locking micro s-biners by Nite-Ize to attach my tarp to my ridge-line and they're only rated for 3 lbs. They worked great for the few nights they were under tension I didn't see them open under the stress and I would have probably broken the plastic ones.

Dutch has the metal S-Biners, or even better use his titanium ridgeline biners, that should work well too while weighing less.

They're definitely #2 plastic s-biners. Rated for 10lbs
They are #2 plastic biners. You can get a replacement metal version of the #2 S biner from walmart for a couple bucks. Should have a 25 lb rating for it I do believe.
