going coast to coast, almost $10
plus there is a "cutting" fee $5
    and a 10 yard min.
I believe mine ended up at $45, which I still though to be a good deal for 10 yards of silnylon (2nds but I couldn't find anything wrong with what was sent me)

Are they friendly to talk to or are our orders "too small" for their time?

MrsMustardman (her actual hammockforums name), literally JUST finished a 12x10 tarp from the material today, so we haven't gotten to try it out yet. It's out in the front yard waiting for the seam sealer to dry as we speak.
I'm not sure how this was misinterpreted, but it seems some folks have misread my post quoted above and thought that they were supposed to ask for MrsMustardman when they call Noah Lamport. THIS IS NOT TRUE.

Notice the period before MrsMustardman. Those are two separate sentences.

Call Noah Lamport and ask what silnylon they have in stock.

My fiance, whose screen name is MrsMustardman, ordered some sil from them to make her tarp. Noah Lamport has never heard of her screen name, and if you ask for her when you call them, they will think you are on crack

I have noticed that Noah Lamport is trying to fancy up their names for the colors they offer so be careful and don't be surprised if the color you think of when they give you the name is not exactly what shoes up. I had thought Cantaloupe/ florescent orange would be a lot like the the Blaze orange seconds that OWF has, it is not it is more of a bloody orange, more red then orange. And like TinaLouise found about the "blackberry" Just a FYI

    Ray-way sil?

Has anyone used the Ray Jardine Silnylon? At $2.68 a yd it seems like a great deal. I would guess that it is pretty lite too

http://www.rayjardine.com/ray-way/php/order-form.php (scroll down to shelter material by the foot.)

I may just have to order some to find out.

That's per FOOT, not yard. $7.74/yd.

Sneaky... I don't know of anyone else pricing it by the foot. At least, none that I buy from.

I agree. I noticed that back when he posted it on his "order form" a few months ago. He should have list it by the yard and said something like "available in 1/4 yard increments" (or thirds) if he wanted to give folks the ability to buy it by the foot.
