What I love about America is our freedom. We have a diverse number of people in our country and are free to share and learn from each other.

I love that America is so diverse. You have mountains, beaches, forests. You have people of all nationalities. You have so much opportunity! It's great!

I love America for the ability to freely travel from coast to coast seeing all the country has to offer. Our national parks provide the opportunity to enjoy the back country in a way few Americans will ever know. While the metropolises provide the opportunity to savor the world's offerings.
I'll be honest. Each day I grow less and less fond of our country. Every day we errode our rights.... by choice. We allow our federal government to take away our freedoms at an exponential rate. We live in a country where you can enter it illegally and get nothing but a slap on the wrist and a paid for bus ticket back home, but yet our citizens are fined and jailed for fishing and hunting without a permit. Our own president sets to Race Bait us at every occassion and is purposely keeping racial tensions at an all time high. We are forced to pay at higher and higher tax rates every election cycle, instead of forcing our elected officials to balance a budget and to stop spending our tax dollars on over seas wellfare. I could go on, but I've already exceeded the 50 word minimum and i'm getting my blood pressure up.
I love so much about America that 50 words can't cover it all.
Let's just say that I am grateful that our Founding Fathers loved the Lord my God and were granted the wisdom to write such a wonderful Constitution. I love our (somewhat dwindling) freedom.
Thank you.
The United States isn't indelibly bound by ethnic, cultural, racial, or some other identity. It's a nation whose unifying principles are ideas, not accidents of geography or history. We fight to defend our freedom. This freedom gives us the right to do what we do without fear of government intervention
Why do I love America? Let me explain. Have you seen a Kansas sunset or an Arizona rain? Have you drifted down a bayou down Louisiana way? Have you watched the cold fog drifting over San Fransisco Bay? have you looked in awe and wonder from a Massachusetts shore?
A free people claim their rights, as derived from the laws of nature, and not as the gift of their chief magistrate. ~ Thomas Jefferson
Thank you for your generosity.
I love America and the pride I get from discussing all of her beauty and her flaws because I have the freedom to do so.
I am thankful for the spirit of this contest as it has provided me the opportunity to engage my kids in thoughtful discussion about why we love America. I have included their entries for the contest since they do not have their own accounts.

God Bless America.
Thanks for this opportunity
Freedom that was fought for by veterans
Freedom to go and do and pursue whatever we wish anywhere.
Freedom to live without the fear of persecution because of beliefs or views or spoken words.
Freedom to succeed and to fail.
Freedom to truly live.

My wife is an immigrant to the United States, so I get to see on a daily basis what makes this country so great! Every day I get to see the American dream in person. The fact that you can come here and work your butt off and have a better quality of life is what I love about America!
