I just checked it's looking like the river is going to be low, under 1000 CFS. That means the rapids will be smaller and easier unlike the one we did two years ago with very high water that proved to be very challenging!
Here's a pic of the kayaks I have to offer to any takers, That includes you too Loki if you'd prefer to see the river first from a beginner boat before taking your river runner.

These are what rafting companies rent to tourist because they are so safe!

Used one of those last year on the lower green river for my 1st kayaking experience... have since switched to a sit in boat but good for starting out

Anybody have room for an extra on/near their campsite? I'm catching a ride with InTheTrees, but he's not positive on how many trees are around his site. I can always chip in to help cover costs.

Hey Folks, I've never been to a hang, but the Mrs. just released me from some obligations for next weekend. I've called to see if any spots are still available but I haven't been able to get anyone on the phone. I'm going to build a quick hammock stand just in case I can't get ahold of someone.

If anyone still has space on their spot I'll be happy to share costs. Planning to drive up from Charlotte late Friday afternoon and head out Sunday around lunchtime. I'll check the spreadsheet to see what's needed. I'll bring two 12' tenkara rods and a couple of backpacker rods I have as well.

Looking forward to meeting some of the folks whose post I read often. Brian
