We used Muletape to pull some fiber optic cables we installed in Orlando Fla in the mid-90s

Just quick info I came up with for my own knowledge...thought it was worth sharing.

    Dynaglide 1000 lb limit 0.43g/ft
Mule Tape 1250 lb limit unknown
    7/64 Amsteel 1600 lb limit 1.30g/ft
    1/8 Amsteel 2500 lb limit 2.19g/ft
    1" straps 1000 lb limit 7.00g/ft
kevlar straps 2000 lb limit 3.30g/ft

I think I am going to go with 7/64 CL, kevlar straps and 7/64 between them (Becket or toggle).
    My numbers:

Dynaglide 1000lb limit 0.733 grams per foot - I'm using a piece that was 6' before adding eyes and weighs 4.4 grams.
Ultralight Kevlar Tape 1000lb limit 1.941 grams per foot - I'm using a piece that was 5.1' before sewing eyes in it and weighs 9.9 grams.
7/64 Amsteel 1600lb limit 1.467 grams per foot - I've made a 6' piece before splicing that weighs 8.8 grams.
1/2" mule tape 1200lb limit 2.86 grams per foot. - I've got a piece that was 5' before finishing with sewn eyes that weigh 14.3 grams.

dug up an old spreadsheet. I am now just using dynaglide and amsteel but here are the weights I got:

    Dynaglide: 0.75625g/ft
    Amsteel 7/64: 1.52236g/ft
    Poly strap: 6.52300g/ft
    5/16 woven kevlar: 0.971g/ft
    masons line: 0.470g/ft
    SMC Descender Ring: 11.6g

My scale looks like its putting out some slightly high numbers. When I weighed this stuff I checked it with 3 quarters and it gave 17.1g

My sample size was pretty small, I think we are generally within about 3.5% for similar materials. When I saw readyme's weights I thought his sounded way off compared to what I have.

I just pulled the weights off of websites selling the material...like Dutch.
I'm just glad you guys have the products in front of you and are willing to give accurate measurements. Thanks all.

I figure any change is going to save weight compared to the 10' tree straps and descender ring suspension I was using.

Back home today from a quick hike up in the Smokys using mt Argon-X90 experimental *** Lander and dynaglide with toggle hitch suspension. I initially set up with one end finishing the hitch with a half hitch and the other end without as I had some success in the Hammock Lab doing it without the half hitch. The toggle hitch started slipping immediately when I loaded the hammock so I redid the knot and finished it with a half hitch and had no further slips. The hammock itself was VERY comfortable. The stretch factor is actually very nice in Argon 90. The only thing I found is I wished the hammock was about 2" wider. When I originally built it there was a foot box on the hammock, but Argon 90 is not strong enough and it started to cause a failure in the hammock body so I removed it. If I would have known all this when constructing it I would have gone 50"wide instead of 48". That said, I was able to adjust my angle to go a little more in-line with the hammock body to find the sweet spot and the stretch of the fabric accommodated that lay. Over time I will know if this is a good solution or does it stress the material out too much.

i immediately thought to use muletape because i, too, have pulled in fiber optic cable with muletape. we did 5000' runs with whatever that cable coiling machine is called to pull the tape and i felt the tension on the line and was in absolute awe at how strong that tiny little stuff was. that was 5 years before i got into hammocking, and the 20' pieces or so pieces that i did keep got left to the xwife and i haven't gotten hands on any since. ebay has it for sale in smaller chucnks, i never found a good source for 'new' that wasn't 1000' or 5000' spools.
