Let me preface this with: mad props to everyone who makes their gear! I am a fairly good seamstress/quilter but working with rip stop and 6oz APEX was quite a challenge. There are a few seams where I plan on restitching but that will have to wait until another time.
Our family lives in Texas so super warm camping gear is usually not needed but we have a trip to Colorado planned and it will be quite cold at night near the base of a fourteener. Hence, this quilt to supplement a nice sleeping bag.
Simple attachment using the corners with line locs and a mini s-biner and 1/8" shock cord. The body is hyperD and the filling is apex. I planned on using a cute camo ribbon for the trim but changed my mind and made quilt binding from the liner rip stop fabric.
