Hey All,
I had my first hike and hang this week near Lake Blanche. Specifically 40.604537, -111.697477. It's a fairly steep hike up.

Ridgeline - I ended up removing the shock cord and running the adjustable line through the net loops.

Successes
- First backpacking trip in a long while
- Didn't forget any necessary items
- Enjoyed some cool wildlife
- Improved pad positioning
- Lots of tarp tie out experimentation
Lessons Learned
- When you set up your tarp, or at least before you get in your hammock and optimize your pad positioning, ask yourself, "will the moon be shining right in my face?"
- Waterproof matches can also seem fireproof. Bring a lighter.
- A wide tarp setup is nice for walking under, but doesn't block wind.
- My tent footprint is an okay ground tarp, but I can find something smaller
Summary
Really fun and relaxing trip, looking forward to my next one.
