    VIDEO: SnugPak Jungle Blanket Overview

As requested, I'm doing a more detailed video on the SnugPak Jungle Blanket Underquilt. It got a little long, so I took out the parts that describe the Jungle blanket itself and made a separate video. I'm still tweaking the UQ build video, but it should be out later this evening or sometime tomorrow. It'll be called the $55 Underquilt. You can subscribe to my channel so you know when it comes out, or check HF as I'll be posting it here as well.

Thanks for putting this together. Based on your video I have order a SnugPack blanket and material to build my underquilt. I have a question about width. I currently have a Hennessy and have a WBBB on the way. If I leave the blanket at full width it seems like it would interfere with the side tie-outs. Do you recommend narrowing the blanket to fit between the tie-outs?

You can just use the HH without the side tie outs. They're not really required. I've used a version of this with my Deep Jungle without the side tie outs and done just fine.

Narrowing the underquilt is certainly an option and not a difficult one at that. It will also give you the benefit of reducing weight and bulk of the underquilt.

    Give it a go.

Brian's right. You could even try to contour the shape. The video is set up to be dead simple, and what you'd be doing doesn't add too much more difficulty.
