I put mine in big plastic tubs with a desiccant to control moisture. They stay uncompressed and are protected very well. Takes some space, but it works for me.

In a big breathable storage bag ...But do not place the bag against a outside wall inside your home would be my biggest thing.

+1 UGQ in Jackson MI has great nylong bags to store quilts. I put my 20º in one by itself and the 50º goes with my 3s Yeti. I put them on a top shelf in the closet when not in use.

Cotton is better than nylon. I use an old sleeping bag storage sack.

I carry my pack with me every day, sort of a get home bag in case of emergency. I don't use compression to pack my UQ just stuff in the the bottom of the pack inside a nd garbage bag. I wonder if this will have any adverse effects on my down UQ over long periods of time. I like being prepared enough to grab my bag and go at any time and don't want to leave it. What say you folks that have long term experience with down?
