    new Half-Wit colors

I was a little taken back by the popularity of the Half-Wit Hammock and making them ran me out of Grey PolyD 1.4 fabric and Burnt Orange NylonD 1.6.

I have replaced them with Olive Green PolyD 1.4 and Woodland Camo NylonD 1.6

How is the durability on the 1.2 PolyD? I am 170-175 pounds. I know the website notes a 200 lbs. max.

I love the brick red and would love to save a few of ounces off my Warbonnet Blackbird.

So, not that I will be starting a thru-hike next year, but maybe in 2017, could I expect the 1.2 to last 6 months on the trail with proper care?

Every night for 6 months is a lot of wear and tear on any piece of gear
Didn't i read someone's trailjournal and learn they went through 5 pairs of shoes and multiple backpacks ??

I've been sleeping in my PolyD 1.2 hammock every night since the beginning of January with no sign of any wear. I weigh 168.

6 months in the woods is certainly a long time for any piece of gear and looking at a hammock like a pair of hiking shoes, a new one every 2 months along with a new pair of shoes doesn't sound unreasonable and with the great prices over at Dutchware, the hammocks would cost less than the shoes! I'll order one and start sleeping in it! If Waffelbox can go 4 months (with our similar weights), it should be just fine. I enjoy testing as much as the next HF member; that's half the fun.

Rob-Bob: I have very little Tap Talk experience. I just decided my browser was fine. How ever you posted your question is how I would do it.

    Thanks for the input.

I've slept over 500 nights in my Ridgerunner - indoors - since 2012.
