    Thumbs up JRB Thumbs Up

Just got my Old Rag Mountain quilt today. Wow...excellent quality and workmanship and A+ customer service with the handling of my expedited shipping request. These guys run a first class operation. Can't wait to try the quilt out on the Northern Hang tomorrow!

Sweet! I'm really looking forward to trying out a bunch of my new gear too. Its gonna be fun.

I also just ordered a quilt from them b/c of the sale they have going on now.

It won't be here in time for the Northern Hang, but I'll have plenty of other gear to try out. I'll be up there tomorrow night!

Holy crap! MW4 Kelly Green on sale for $309.95, and a 15% rebate on top of that for a total price of $263.45. Had to snag one. Great deal and just in time for winter!

So I've been looking at the JRB home page...I know the difference between a Standard and a long is the length....the thing im a bit confused about is....is a standard considered a 3/4 quilt and a long is the length of the hammock...or is the long just for taller people who may need to spread out their hammock longer their for spreading out the quilt longer...
Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

The longer quilts are for taller people. For reference I have a regular length quilt. I'm about 5'10". Jack told me that was the upper limit for a regular quilt so if you are taller than me you probably want to get the longer quilt.

I am 6" and I really like to stretch out...Ive been going back and forth about quilts...Im about to order the WBBB...dont know If i want to get the yeti or get a JRB Mt Washington 3, $255...thats only $50 xtra for a full quilt...I think I just made up my mind...does the MT 3 come in a long or is it only one length...It appears to be only one length but cant tell...Also does it cover the foot box on the WBBB or do you still need a pad under your feet?

I think it is one length only, unless you get the MW3 convertible.

Forgot to update; I got my MW4 UQ, but I haven't hung with it yet. Maybe tomorrow night?

Yeah, I was one of the lucky ones who snagged on of the Kelly Green ones that was reduced, plus the 15% off... Can't really beat that deal.
