    Question

The hooks on the sides of the hammock? I know or at least assume they are underquilt hooks, the question is how do they work? Pics maybe?

    Hi Moonshiner,
Here's one that we shipped out this evening.

On each end of the hammock is a set of pack hooks that will accept the suspension shock cord of your underquilt. This provides a little lift to keep the underquilt snuggly against the bottom of the hammock as well as keep it from shifting side to side during the night.

There is also a pair of pack hooks on each side of the hammock that you can attach the provided shock cord guylines in case you wish to tie the hammock out to open up the interior and hold the netting more taut. The side tie-outs are totally optional and don't have to be used if you don't want to.

UGQ offers a pack hook mod that will allow you to hook their underquilt directly to the pack hook at your outside shoulder. This does a great job of locking the underquilt in place won't allow it to slide off the shoulder area.
