    Red face Hello from Oregon!

I heartily wish I had seen this forum before purchasing my eno *insert big sigh*. There are so many options, I already want to upgrade my gear! Live and learn. I'm a n00b to this whole hammock camping thing but extremely excited to dive right in. My husband chuckled when I proudly showed him my hammock, apparently he had been considering hammock camping for a while but wasn't sure what I would think about it. Well, now he knows =D I'm super excited to try it out and have been impatiently checking the mailbox hoping his hammock has arrived so we can get started already. We have our fav tent camping spot near a small Oregon coastal town but want to venture out near St.Helens for a hiking/camping trip...so far the few places I've found do not allow dogs =( I will be scouring the forums to see if anybody knows of a good section of BLM land out that way...or if someone who reads this post knows of a good spot near the OR coast or Mt.St.Helens please share! Much appreciated, happy hanging to all.

Nothing wrong with an ENO. just make a Fronkey style bug net and it will get you by. I have one I mainly use on day hikes or in my living room.

Thanks, happy to be here Gary. I didn't mean to imply there was anything wrong with the Eno, it seems perfectly serviceable for what I need at this point in time. I just wish I had had the option to try a few different kinds before I purchased it. I figure my Eno will become a permanent fixture in the backyard if I ever upgrade...or maybe gift it to my nephew =)
