    Tarp suspension

    Ordered a cuben hex tarp today (payday, woo!). I realise it's going to take a long time to arrive. **** cuben shortage.

    I impulse bought some Dutchware before I could make it to check out, the tarpflyes. Before this I've just tied knots every night.

    Does the tarp include zing-its or similar line for suspension?

    Nope. You'll need to get some 1.75 mm line.

    I use 1.2mm tech line from www.diygearsupply.com It's the best combination of lightweight and inexpensive, worthy of the lightness of the Cuben tarp.

    The 1.75 mm Zing-It is spliceable, which is important to many. About the only thing I don't splice is soft shackle prusiks and marlin spike hitches.
