There are a couple of minor flaws.

    1. The slit to insert a pad is fairly small. There are slits on both sides (opposing), but putting a pad in can be a little bit of a hassle; getting it out is a PITA.
    2. The tie-out attachment for the netting when slung over the ridgeline isn't very effective in holding the netting in place. Very easy to correct, but still a design flaw.

The fabric is GREAT and I appreciate the fact that Hennessy is moving in the direction their customers are asking with the zippered entry and double layer. Overall, a nice hammock and quite comfortable.

It also doesn't have the bottom entry anymore, correct?

Just putting the zipper mod on my Explorer UL seems more cost effective and I like having the bottom entry option.

Nonetheless, it looks like a nice hammock.

Nope, and I still think it's weird. Kind of like buying a Coke in a blue can. It tastes the same, but somehow just isn't right.

    .
Once I had 2QZQ mod 3 zipper installed on my ULBP the birth canal is a thing of the past for me. It a hassle to stand on your tippy toes to get into the HH's for me. Ive resorted to lower hangs which makes cooking and getting dressed sooooo much easier. Cant sing enough praise about the zippermod

I do have one minor update.

A little birdy told me that on the current production models, the pad slit on the zippered side is even smaller than the one I picked up at Trail Days. I don't know if that particular hammock was a victim of a production error or if it was an inteneded design change. Either way, the slit is less than 10".

"Birdy" is in the witness relocation program and can't be identified.
