ViDEO: Canoe Voyage in BWCA with Shug, Alex & Strung Out

Yessir....got up to the Boundary Waters Wilderness Canoe Area again but this time in a canoe. Strung Out brought the canoe and Alex rented a kayak at REI and off we voyaged in the Sioux Hustler area. Put in on the Little sioux River and had three nights up in the Glory.
Got some real nice sleep in the hammock whilst being bathed in the glimmer of the Full Moon. Loons cried and sang all night and greeted us when the morning came.
    Whoooooooo Buddy))))))

    The rest of the sojourn......
A huge and dee-licious burger at the end at Stoney Ridge Resort Cafe in Ely, MN. Over 50 burgers on the menu. Really! http://www.stonyridgeresort.com
Thanks for watching this long production.

    Nice Shug,

Finally got you out in a canoe! You certainly picked one of the most beautiful places to paddle. Those shades look awesome!

Looking forward to many more waterborne adventures.

It looked to me like a fantastic trip! Loved the hi tech sunglasses, they were a good look. That bird makes some spooky sounds. Thanks for the link to the site about the bird too, that was good! The little turtle was cool as! The campsites around there are the best! Thanks for the video, Mr. Shug, that was great!

Viewing things from the water is sure a whole new perspective from walking a trail. Good to see that you finally got your sea legs Shug.

Thank you, Shug. What type of support are you using on your knee? No deerflies so far is a good sign.

    C'est magnifique Shug.
Have to admit I did a double take when I saw canoe in the title.
Do you know (or anybody) the name of the bird singing in the background at around 12:17? (not the loon)
We have them here in upstate NY and I love the song....just not sure who's doin it.

Looks like a great trip. The loons brought back memories of Canadian trip. I loved the Birch bark shades. Looking forward to part two.
