Best method to keep UQ in place?

I've recently switched from a HH to a Dream Hammock (it arrived today, YAY!). I'm hoping that I can really start laying asym for a better lay with the new hammock.

I once attempted to adjust my UQ for the asym lay with the HH, but it kept sliding and I'd constantly find my feet cold -- eventually I gave up and just laid straight (or kinda curl up so my whole body is within the UQ).

Now that I have the DH I'd really like to start utilizing it to the fullest. I'm wondering what is the best method to keep the UQ perfectly inline with your body during use? I was thinking of using some magnets (one inside the hammock and the other outside of the UQ).

I'd love to hear ideas that other people use.

In addition to what Shug fabulously demonstrates above you can use the Pack Hook on your Dream Hammock as a quilt retainer. Just push the shock cord channel into the Pack Hook at the shoulder nearest the edge of the hammock (ie: right shoulder for head-right feet-left lay or left shoulder for head-left feet-right lay). Only use the one Pack Hook though as using all of them could rend your UQ.

Are you talking about the HG Incubator? Are you sure, you set it up correctly? I use an Incubator and I don't have problems with slippage. I have used it on all types of hammocks, including HH and DH. The shock cords need to be tight, but not too tight. My secondary suspension is usually tighter than my primary. I think if the main / primary suspension is too tight, the uq tends to enforce an inline lay. So maybe loosen it a bit.

BTW, I have used a couple of aids for keeping the uq snug in the past, but ditched them ever since HG came out with the primary/secondary suspension system.

Shug, I'll give the adjustment of one side pulled much more than the other and see if that's been the major problem. It looked like it hung perfectly for you in your video.

I was wondering what those hooks on the hammock were for. I'll give them a try!

I have an Incubator 20° and a Phoenix 40°. I haven't had the problem so much with the Phoenix since it doesn't cover my feet anyway :-). The Incubator is where I wake up and find that my feet are no longer on the UQ (or worse yet a shoulder). But after watching Shug's video I think the main problem was that I didn't have the UQ's suspension adjusted correctly.

I'm off to give it a try in the back yard! Thanks!

Thanks for posting and all the replies. I'm in the learning phase of rigging UQ quilts myself so all this information is good for me.
