I haven't had the pleasure of dealing with Derek but know his book has helped many people. I have dealt with Dutch, he and his gear are awesome so, thank you to you both. And thank you MoonBear. By the way, I love the rain kilt(as a guy, I hate using the word skirt) but love it. I will have to check this out and also get Derek's book

I'm new to hammock hanging and to this forum but I'll throw my hat into the ring. I live north of the border so if that disqualifies me, I'm OK with it. I have Derek's book on my tablet...it was both an educational and an enjoyable read, especially for a beginner like me so thank you! I recently ordered a fancy shmancy double end opening stuff sack from Dutch(I'm sure I'll be ordering more when I have built up sufficient spouse points) and he responded and delivered it super fast...so muchas gracias Dutch!
