This question was asked back in 2012, but things change, especially in the hammocking scene. Gear gets tweaked, people shift their habits, manufacturers come out with new gear.
I know Cannibal was a big proponent of fulltiming it, but he seems to have been absent for a couple of years. Maybe he just got really comfy in his hammock.
I'm planning to go fulltime, and I've got some ideas, but I'd like to know what others are doing.
So, fulltimers: what's your setup? Pics and/or links encouraged!

Do you own or rent your residence? If you own, check out the Indoor Hanging Help sticky found near the top of this forum. If you rent, then you're probably best off using a stand of some sort. I'm a renter so I use a pipe stand in combo with one of Opie's Mackinac Bridge Hammocks most of the time. When I have a trip coming up I switch to using the hammock I'll be bringing on that trip a few nights before so I can reacquaint my body with that particular hammock.
I own my home, but my hammock is hanging in a little "sleeping porch" that is about 5' by 12'. The studs are not in the middle of the room and I didn't want to ruin the finishes with holes trying to get a hammock hung right. So I ended up making two A frame stands and hanging a ridge pole from them. The ridge pole is about an inch shorter that the room and I taped some foam on the ends so there is only about a quarter inch of play. I use a DIY hammock with a DIY underquilt and regular sheet and blankets for the top. I tried the bug net indoors so I could get used to it, but it blocks too much wind.

Yes on both counts. It is amazing what you can make from bamboo. I have a bunch of it growing in the back yard.
I don't hang full time any more, and haven't since before I got married but before I needed a bed I slept in a big cotton mayan hammock for several years. I haven't been in one for a while but I remember it being way more comfy than my camping hammocks and easier to get multiple people in too.
I've been using this set up for a year and a half now. This is a byers of Maine paradiso hammock. Its 13 ft long and 5.5ft wide, makes it for my most comfortable hammock, out of 8 hammocks. I use the 1 season arrowhead equipment jarbidge UQ in this fashion. I use two standard bed pillows, one under my head and the other is either under my legs, or if I'm in fetal position its between my legs. I use either a bed sheet on top, or a fleece blanket.
Its mounted via eye-bolts through the wall studs, connected with paracord and the heavy carabinier. No, the paracord has not stretched over a year of use. The ridge line is there to hold the UQ, so its tied very loosely. The UQ is under the line, so to take it off I have to disconnect either the ridge line or the shock cord.

I'm leaning very heavily towards the paradiso (they have it in silver now)
How does it feel against your skin? Also, would you be able to share your dimensions biner-to-biner and biner height from floor? Pretty please?

I have it at 13ft 4" and its at 70" high... I have to tip out of the hammock, a couple of inches lower would've been better.
The fabric is soft, but not smooth. The cotton is very soft, and you can definitely feel the weave. Its hard to describe.
