Old Thread Alert.
Subscribe is fine for when/if a post is added to a thread. If no new post is added, notification doesn't happen, and I have to search.
A 'Sticky' I want to find, or a particular thread I like.
I cannot find anything like:
<Add To Favorites>
If not, then I guess I will "Subscribe to the Thread" and select "View all Subscribed Threads" on my "Settings" page.
I just finished searching for the "Favorites" because it seemed to be available early in the forum, or I was mistaken.
Thanks,
Ken in NC

Are you simply trying to search for something and not getting any hits?

No, I want to add a topic as a favorite.
I guess I was as clear as mud.

I do find this forum a bit confusing at times. When I google I usually get linked to what seems like a text only format (no brown buttons). Searching inside HammockForums.net sometimes gets nowhere. I think I could search for 'hammock' and get "No Results" (I'm exaggerating....I hope). Still it's a great place, terrific people, great information, amazing ideas. While it can be a little difficult getting around, it's worth the effort. (The larger problem is bumping into something else that's so interesting--well there goes the whole afternoon.) Sometimes what works for me is to google my question, jump on the Hammock Forum items, and then find my way to the 'brown' lines format. And some things seem very difficult to understand, like I've walked into the graduate level class and professor Shugie and the PhD candidates are deep into technical stuff.... (One trick that works, eventually, is go over the best sources five times; often you see where it was you got lost, but sometimes it's just 'pop!' like you've understood it your whole life. It's smart to read a lot of books, it's smarter and far more useful to read smart books a couple of times.
