What's up gang!!!! My name is Tom, I'm from the Hudson Valley. I've been camping since I was a teen, and now have the Hammock bug. Been reading ALOT and gained some insight (as far as a noob can) and can't wait to start hanging! Followed some good advice and picked up an old (1987) Kenmore 385. Going to be ordering some supplies shortly and start the journey. Anyone from the area, give a holler and let me know if there are any outings for the Mid-Hudson Valley!

Thanks Thom. Just got it back from the shop. So far, so good. I managed my first gathered end. 10 1/2' long. Still got all my fingers (no holes yet).
