    First diy hammock

This was my first big project other then pillows and stuff sacks. I like the way the colors turned out. Any ideas on accessories I could sew

B-E-A-UTIFUL! Lol, I think this looks awesome! Very nice work... how hard was it to measure and sew the attached bugnet and zipper? A hammock just like this is going to be my next project.

That's quite an ambitious first big project! Nicely done!

Also very brave to use such a contrasting thread color. My stitching is pretty straight but I haven't quite worked up the guts to do that yet. Maybe when I make some quilts.

Yeah waffle box, I noticed the difference in the lime green thread as soon as I used it. With the contrast my lines had to be more precise, which took some practice lol. And kpi890 the triangles were the hardest to measure and sew. After I made the hammock I just draped the net over and pinned it to the zipper like xtreckker does in a video he made. And thanks for the compliments guys I have more confidence to make more of my own gear now.

    Very nice!
Did you measure the triangles like xtreckker did in his video? I have a hammock I would like to try that on.
