Hammock Gear Cuben Fiber Delay?

Just bought a Cuben Fiber tarp from Hammock Gear and says expect a 8- 10 week delay!! Has it taken anyone this long to receive their tarp?

They've had the warning on the web page for months now - 8 to 10 week delay.

Most company's are having issues getting CF and who knows what will happen with the possible sale of the company.

There's nothing possible about it. It has been sold.

Just be happy you are getting it. I'll bet there is going to be a bump in the cf price real soon.

I ordered mine on June 7th, haven't heard anything yet, still says awaiting fulfillment. I knew going in it was going to be a long wait though. Doesn't make waiting any easier!

Geez, first no more Royalex for kayaks and canoes, now this! Maybe since the new buyer is bigger they can produce cuben fiber cheaper and pass the savings on to us!? Lol.

I don't mind paying up front and waiting a couple of weeks but 8-10, and even that was questionable when I tried to order one, was too much, I'm pretty happy with the tarp I made that weighs 13 oz with stakes.
