I use a 11 foot Dutch hammock with a Fronkey net.

I've known deep down that I'd want to have one some day, but I'm starting to think I should probably have one already!

Like others said the SF covers the XLC fine. I carry 4 small binder clips and instead of tying my doors back, I roll them tightly and clip them. Voila! You have a MJ.

**** that is brilliant, that option didn't occur to me. The only thing that bothers me when pulling them back is the extra material flapping around in a stiff breeze. That's a great solution.

That flapping is exactly why I tried the clips. It works well.

No fear of the clips damaging the tarp? Can anyone thing of a softer alternative?

That clip would probably work. A plain old wooden clothes pin will work. It doesn't take much to hold it rolled up. I have been using the binder clips for a while with no issues but something with a "softer" touch would not be a bad idea.

I just tie my doors to the side tie-outs of the tarp with a slippery half-hitch. I've never considered carrying clothes pins or anything else that would increase weight.
