It's encounters like yours that we all would secretly like to have, at least that's what our manhood thinks. Yours however, proves the Fronk is the real deal! Congratulations on the thrill of a lifetime.

Wow, that was a powerful video! I bet that was a tremendous adrenaline rush. You held your cool facing a potential nasty outcome. You have my enduring respect.
Thanks so much, Home Run. Yeah, I've been going into the woods for over 25 years and never had anything remotely close to something like this happening and I doubt it will happen again. It's one of my most cherished experiences and it just makes me love the wilderness even more.
Thanks, dude. Yeah, it for sure was a rush and about 10 minutes after filming was when it had processed exactly what was going on. lol
Thanks again.

That cat was obviously not feeling well as they are normally ubber private and sneaky. My opinion is that it was laying in wait for an easy trail delivered meal and you just looked like too much to handle when feeling so poorly. Had it been more healthy you would probably not be here. Frankly if we knew just how many times we have been watched, unknowingly at close distance, by deadly predators...we probably would hesitate to go into them piney woods.
Wonder if bear spray works on big cats?
