    Hello from SW Ohio

I've been lurking for a couple months and finally getting around to my first post. I live outside of Cincinnati, OH and have been wanting to start camping again. I somehow stumbled across some info about hammocks and found out a friend at work had one. I borrowed his and hung it in the living room one night (I am not opposed to putting eyebolts in walls, LOL) then bought a Grand Trunk Skeeter Beeter Pro and some other assorted gear. Now I just need it to cool off enough to get outside.

I am a bit of a DIY'er and dabble in leather, kydex, and webbing so I am also planning on doing some DIY hammock gear projects. That is as soon as some other projects are completed.

Welcome, Ken. Personally, I enjoy the warmer weather. I don't have to carry as much (if any) bottom insulation!
