Cool OFFICIAL - 6th Annual John Rock Hang TRIP REPORT 7/17-7/19

Ha! what a blast and what a great bunch of people.

I'll try and get more posted later but wanted to thank everyone for leaving our Enchanted Forest so clean !!

We did have to spend a couple extra hours burning all the left-behind food and supplies.... but never-mind that ( and Thank You Davey Ray and Eileen)!! The camping area was left pristine by all of our HF attendees --- Thank YOU!

I really enjoyed seeing all the newcomers to this hang and I am glad to now have even more HF 'connections'. And, as always... good seeing long-time friends again too!

Looking forward to everyones thoughts, pics, and vids.

Many thanks to all of those who volunteered to help carry out some of the trash bags and kudos to those who helped some of their fellow hangers by toting other folks gear up and down the trail for them.

PS: Detail Man please tell your three little details that all of the dayhikers were stopping to take pics of their WoodLand Buffet today !! Beautiful !!

I am glad to have been a part of this hang yet again. This was the most people I've seen at this hang and more food than I knew what to do with. Great job, Loki, CB, and HB for carrying forth with the event. Well done.

Most Hammocks I've seen at one spot. The enchanted forest kept sprouting dozens of tarps!

    But I digress.....

My midnight stroll was nice and I'm glad I was able to finally make it to one of these things. Good meeting you all!

Thanks to HB, Loki, and CB for carrying on the tradition. Great job guys and thanks to all those who fed the mob. Nice to have met some new faces. Bunches of old faces also.

Left the parking lot at about 70 degrees, 3.5 hours later hit 100 in Augusta. Maybe the mountains have something there. Got to get back EARLY!
