Sad to hear about Greenbean too. It will be missed in future adventures. May #2 serve as well as the bean did!

Are you sure ole GB can't be repaired with maybe a double sided patch and enough stitching? If not,I like the charity idea that others have proposed.

    Sorry to observe your loss.

Fried spam, potted meat and french fried potatoe's; or is that potato's (either way....I don't care how I say it.) you will feel somewhat better. I know you like the way I talk. Potaters.

Then a regimen of spam jelly and spam tartar and you will be ready to get to work on gen2.

Be well in sector 7. Live long and prosper.

2009..to what I am led to believe is now 2016......shucks, I have destroyed them on the first hang before.

Hope that knee is feeling a bit better, I see you are still wearing some kind of chastity belt on it. Or at your age is that called a truss?
If it moves, you can eat it. No promises you will think it tastes good.

    Good catch.
I think Hickery was right. The county coroner found high levels of methane & hydrogen in the fabric. Too much Texas State Fair Chili?
Don't worry Wilson, I'll do all the paddling. You just hang on! ~Chuck Noland

Thoughts be with you, Shug. I know you two were close. My heart skipped a beat when I was watching that video. That hammock was your best costar.

I've always been sentimental with my gear, even if in a bit of tongue-in-cheek way, but after some careful reflection after reading this thread, I've realized that through all the storms I've weathered in my personal 12 year old "Green Bean" and all the comfort it's provided me, I have a very serious and real attachment to it. There is no joking here, it's a very sad day indeed.

    Peace be with you, Shug.
