Zuki, there were definitely a lot of cool DIY and manufactured items here. Group hangs are a great place to see and touch what others are hiking with, different rigs, cool doodads, whatchamacallits, and gadgets.

Lilricky, Great White, Mad, Olddog, and richtorfla we missed you all and wish you could have made it. The temps were great at night and occasionally hot/muggy during the day. A West wind kept the bugs and most of the heat away.

It would be great to have you out there. Great hike in from 3 different spots. A little over 5 miles from the South(Juniper Springs). A little over 3 miles from the North(Pat's Island parking lot). Both are part of the Florida Trail. And a little over 2 miles from the West(Hidden Pond Short).

Summer's Last Gasp Hang will be September 25-27. Someone will start the planning thread a few weeks after HHangCon 1 thread starts in early August. 2 great trips with Grinder's Birthday hang inbetween.

I love this hammock thing. It may.... just.... stick.... and catch on.
