With a Dutch clip ... I just have a 1 inch loop and stitch it a little snugger ... after inserting it but if you're just going to string the sling through the loop I'd suggest a 2 inch loop.Originally Posted by Mr l33t d00d

A two inch loop is probably large enough for any hammock suspension purpose.

Two inches sounds about right for what I'm looking for, can be used for various different configurations.
10'-15' good for the length?
