Bumping because the kickstarter ends this week and it hasnt quite funded yet.
I supported because although a bit expensive - I think its a cool idea and I'd like to see more.

A little surprised there hasn't been more discussion on the idea of a hammock chair here. I'll post a review if I get one.

While being neat I would rather carry around a single layer, ultra light, gathered end hammock. I have the option of napping or reclining.

Personally I think there is a market for it.
Maybe the price is high but there is no alternative. I do not consider a single layer a good alternative to this for my own needs.
I'm a hunter and I need something for extended periods in the woods - a traditional hammock is not suited for this.

Hopefully some of the cottage builders will take note and make something better - until then I will add this to my collection and support the innovation.

We have been making a hammock chair for nearly 6 years. There are alternatives to out there to taking a full size hammock. If this is what we need to take note of we need to seriously increase out price.

Please don't increase the price Mr. Gibson Although a camo version would be cool , I'd put it to use hunting as the OP is suggesting.

A traditional hammock works quite well, pitched correctly for the purpose at hand, for lounging in the woods.....even while hunting, I've done it!

As for me, I'll continue to support those that work in inches not cm.

Since he was too modest to link it, I will.
