my hammockforums.com buff arrived this morning. this thing is way warm in the beanie config and the ninja config. can't wait to see its wicking properties. maybe this thing will bring about hammock questions and i can start wheelin' an' dealin' some hammock gears! thanks a million dutch!!

So I had the new buff on the kitchen table yesterday and then I realized it was faded at one end and expressed my surprise that I got a faulty buff.

My wife rolled her eyes and said "It's ombré. Very nice."

Good job on the ombré buff, Dutch. My wife approves!

Ombré describes the gradual blending of one color hue to another, usually moving tints and shades from light to dark. The technique is commonly seen as a surface treatment in fashion and art. During the early 21st century ombré became a popular feature for hair coloring, nail art, and even baking, in addition to its uses in home decorating and graphic design.

Had to google it.

My 2yo loves wearing it in pirate mode (with the knot). I hope I can find it before my next outing....

the ombre doesn't bother me, but i didn't understand how half my buff looked wet and the other half dry lol

This makes the third buff I own but only 1 is of the original fabric and you can tell the difference in quality. Thank you Dutch, Atroll and anybody else in this.

I finally gave The Terminators hers. I had planned to give it to her at the Grayson Hang but she said she wished she had a buff so I gave it to her early. She likes it and is looking forward to using it when it gets cold. Told her she could use it as a tube top and she gave me a dirty look.
