I concur, the hang was a success. Great food, great conversation, great food, gear comparisons and help, tumblejuice and great beers (they sure went down easy! ), campfires, spoon carving, gear comparisons and help... did I mention great food? There were suitable trees for at least twice as many hangers as showed up. The weather couldn't have been better with almost no mosquitoes, a super bright full moon, moderate breezes, moderate temps, etc.

The only nuisances were dodging the falling hickory nuts and the smoke from the campfire!!

Many thanks to Amarian, Campdavid, Goobie, lxzndr & wife, Mixter, TheLevitator & lady friend and Tumbleweed for making this hang such a fun way to spend a weekend!!

Thanks all! It was good to meet you...next time I will plan better so I can stay overnight.

I was up on the Chippewa Flowage.
I was all set to hang with you guys until I remembered I was already on vacation that weekend. Never enough time for everything, you know.

It was a great weekend for it. I'm glad my test hang was successful so that I felt comfortable coming out for Saturday night. Thanks for the home brew Goobie, it was good. I'll have to get my stuff set up to start brewing again.

My fishing trip was very nice and I had a good time.

Very nice indeed! Glad you had such an enjoyable trip. Coincidentally the weekend before last I was watching bald eagles in the northwoods quite a bit east of where y'all were last weekend.

All my efforts count as nothing if no one shows up. Thank you for taking the time to attend the last two WI group hangs. I greatly appreciate your being there. We three had good conversations around the fire Friday night. Would not have been as good without you.
