Is that list accurate? Any changes needed?

Since I am only about an hour and twenty away I am going to catch my son's little league game then head up....should be there around 2:30 +/-

I will bring some food to share for Saturday dinner....let me know if there are any requests. Also, if we need any gear like stoves, cooking stuff, lanterns, etc. just mention it and I'll drag some extra stuff along.

Oh and I'll pick up some firewood when I get close.

Save me some trees! Not going to drag along that monstrosity I just built....too heavy and the ridge pole is nearly 15'

I'm hoping to make it for saturday.

I'll have my stand so don't worry about saving trees for me.

This time Tumblejuice is Templeton Rye. Al Capone's preferred whiskey, and he should know. Saturday evening until it's gone. Willing to share!!! A new experience awaits...

Sorry guys, life getting in the way here with kid activities this weekend. Doesn't look like I'll be able to get away.

    Next time.

Sorry, I have sick kids and will not be able to attend. Hope you all have a wonderful time! I will watch for a spring hang. Maybe even a winter one if I figure out how to stay warm enough.

Hang was a success! Thanks to all who were there, all who weren't...sucks to be you. A beautiful night for an early fall hang to bring my lady-friend along as a surprise guest, a nice introduction to the floating world.

    Thumbs up

I concur, the hang was a success. Great food, great conversation, great food, gear comparisons and help, tumblejuice and great beers (they sure went down easy! ), campfires, spoon carving, gear comparisons and help... did I mention great food? There were suitable trees for at least twice as many hangers as showed up. The weather couldn't have been better with almost no mosquitoes, a super bright full moon, moderate breezes, moderate temps, etc.

The only nuisances were dodging the falling hickory nuts and the smoke from the campfire!!

Many thanks to Amarian, Campdavid, Goobie, lxzndr & wife, Mixter, TheLevitator & lady friend and Tumbleweed for making this hang such a fun way to spend a weekend!!

I have a feeling these Wisconsin hangs will continue to catch on. Glad to hear there was a good turnout and good times!
