I'll test for you if you need another body. Just saying.
I like refried beans. That's why I wanna try fried beans, because maybe they're just as good and we're just wasting time. You don't have to fry them again after all.

Maybe call it the Padlock
Get lost in the woods and find yourself again. A vacation,to me, is working with your hands and surviving because of the fruits of your labor. In the business world I teach;in the natural world I learn.

Looking forward to seeing how this turns out!
i would defintely try this out as a tester if you need any more. i am a pad user in a double layer for 3 seasons. Only switch to an underquilt for the winter. i am thru hiking the AT next year and looking at how to cut some weight. it sounds like this could be a good option. Thanks!
Hi all,
I made a UQP with the slight changes that we thought would be needed to hold a pad secure in between the hammock and pad.
Tim had a chance to test it the other night. He didn't get a chance to stay out the whole night because skunk perfume sent him inside! The few hours he was in the hammock, the pad stayed in place.
Earlier he used a piece of Reflectix and it stayed in place, but this isn't what he used when he went to "bed". He used this... http://gossamergear.com/thinlight-insulation-pads.html ...1/4". He likes this better because it is quieter and conforms to his body better. We found the Reflectix at the local plumbing company. They sold us a 4' piece. He already had a piece of the Thinlight.
We feel confident, with the small changes, the UQP will hold a pad in place. I will be contacting sashasrd and Two Tents with details tonight...hopefully. I have work e-mailing I need to do first. If not tonight...tomorrow.
As soon as the testers have used these UQPs and given us the we will put them on our website.
Donna
