    What fabric?

I am looking to make my first DIY hammock and I am wondering what fabric to get. I want something that is strong enough to hold at least 300 lbs and does not stretch overnight when you sleep in it. Weight does not really matter to me. Could anyone suggest a vendor of such a fabric? Thanks!

Also I am looking for a website that will sell wider than 60" rolls - like somewhere from 64"-72".

Yep, HyperD XL is the only regularly available ripstop I know of, that is more than 60". I think it's probably strong enough to hold 300lbs (I seem to remember reading that it has been used with 400lbs without problems), but it will stretch a bit. It might be OK for you, but for my taste it is a bit too much. I prefer very low stretch fabrics, though. You could make a double layer. That would reduce stretch.
