Red face ViDEO: AMOK DRAUMR 3.0 Camping Hammock Detailed Overview

    "THE WHOOOO BUDDY DISCOUNT".....http://www.amokequipment.com/shug

For all our US and Canadian fans we now offer a special Whoooo Buddy discount to celebrate Shug's awesome video on our Draumr 3.0.
The discount is 15% off regular price on the hammock + tarp package and 10% off regular price on the hammock only. Sales lasts until Sunday August 16th.

    Hammock + tarp $339
    Hammock only $269

    Hammock + tarp $425 CAD
    Hammock only $337 CAD

Here is a detailed looky-see of the AMOK Draumr 3.0 camping hammock.
All I can say is that this hammock is truly something different. Lay on your stomach and side comfortably.
Use a pad (specific type) instead of an underquilt......http://www.amokequipment.com/sleepingpads
Sit in Recline Mode. No shoulder squeeze what so-ever.
It is a bit on the heavy side being so feature laden but it is bomb-proof......
    Hammock weight:
    1340 g / 47 oz (without tarp)
    2056 g / 72 oz (including tarp/stakes)
They make a tarp to fit this hammock specifically...it is needed.....http://www.amokequipment.com/unitedstates-greentarp
It is a short hammock and 6 feet is about the max height of a person to be comfortable. Weight up to 330 pounds.
Ol' Shug of the Third Person is quite smitten with this hammock.

    All secure in sector seven,
    Shug

Wow, every little thing has been thought of and incorporated in that thing. It seems ideal for car camping and for folk who aren't as concerned with weight.

That footbox does look a little snug, is that gonna compress your quilt?

Is this the new green bean? It looks like your diy skills have vastly improved since 2009.

I love the innovation and someone thinking outside of the box but aye a little too heavy for the trail. Would be great to play with car camping or indeed for a paddling trip.

Great information. I learned more about this hammock from your review than all the other reviews and sales videos I've seen.

I hope these guys are ready for the rush of orders that are about to come their way. A recommendation from Shug on any level would be a game changer for a cottage vendor I would think.

It's looks nifty as all git out. Not my cup of tea at this point but then I'm hoping to talk to Randy at Dream Hammocks about a custom set up just for me. Lots of room for all kinds of flavors in the hammock pot.

Excellent review video all the way around Shug.
