Well I finally bit the bullet and modified the methodology I used for attaching to the tree.
I bought two Nanos and 4 rap rings the other day just to give it a whirl.
No more than I camp, once a month, I figured I would try it; I do t think it's going to destroy my ropes.
It is definitely easy up. But by gosh you better lock it down with a slippery half! Busted my tail when I sat down and it slipped all the way to the ground!
Loved how easy it went up though. I bought the cheapo descenders and not the thick Omega Pacific rings. I think the others may ha e held better.
