Great question!! I believe he was just teasing you...
Do you imagine the universe is agitated?

This practice should answer the question... Lao Tzu
Oh, what is the hammock community coming to, when beep won't sell stonecold the shirt off his back!
For some reason I got on the Woolrich catalog list - so now I get their catalogs. Aaaargh! Droolworthy stuff. Yeah, I'm kind of old school in the outdoor clothing department - blame it on my folks.

usually people looking for a filson or woolrich are thinking bushcraft type jacket.
I strongly suggest they look at Empire Canvas Works Long Field Jacket--completely made in the USA and completely customizable (mine has a large pocket on the back big enough for a tarp and a down jacket). It's oilskin so you know it's not for lightweight backpacking but hard to tear and can take a spark....wool does well under it
i will have to trawl the US ebay ,i think.they are a bit expensive for me to purchase a new one,as was said bfore it is for bushcraft purposes,so it will be used close to the fire.i have noticed some nice ones coming up on ebay but the people are charging more than the price of the coat for postage
everybody is holding tight on these coats, they must be a lot better than i thought.
