Deleware River 8-27-15

I got an awesome night out with Pillsburythoughboy12 on the Delaware river. Parked our car found an awesome spot on an island and set up camp. I watched Ron cook dinner and then I did a good job eating every last bit. Good eats Ron Kwon. We did lots of swimming and fish right off the beach outside of our camp spot. Saw giant carp swimming all over our area. At night we had to chase all the raccoons away because they wanted to Steel our kayaks and maybe even some food. Turned out to be an awesome few days on the water with lots of laughs and great company. Thanks for watching

Sounds like alot of fun, we used to paddle out to the islands on the Delaware when i was a teenager,(30 some years ago) but it started getting crowded and the paties got way out of hand, so much so that the cops banned anyone from being on the island after dusk.
Good to know things have changed and you could camp in peace again.

I think this was legal. There were fire rings but no sign stating what site we were at. IDK but I'll do it again!!!
