Anybody in Sarasota or Bradenton, FL?

Total greenhorn here trying to rig up a Warbonnet Blackbird XLC with a Warbonnet Edge Tarp.

Already have 180 ft of Zing it cord and 2 Dutchware Stingerz, as well as a couple of black diamond carabiners for the hammock.

These guys at TrailwalkerGear and Environeers will not lift a finger to assist me even though I have bought supplies for them in the past. They are butthurt because they only offer made in China crap like ENO or Grand Trunk and are pissed that I was flippant to support American ingenuity over their cookie cutter products.

I have looked at the YouTube videos but am afraid that I will rig it the wrong way. Is there anyone out there from Sarasota or Bradenton, who could show me how to rig this properly hands on. Thank you and God bless.

Welcome aboard. There are a few over that way but not sure how often they check the forum. I'm over in Lakeland. If none of them respond maybe we can get together and work on your rig. No experience with the Warbonnet but it can't be much different than other hammock/tarp setups. There is a hang, Summers Last Gasp, coming up the end of Sept at Hidden Pond in Ocala. Thinking of trying to make that one myself. Group hangs are always a good place to see how many different ways there are to hang.
