Now in the market for a tarp. Can I have some opinions of the ENO profly. I know I could do better but price is somewhat a consideration. All thoughts, opinions appreciated.
Thanks

In 100 years it won't make any difference...
I had two ENO Ptofly tarps until one got lifted from my friends luggage. The are bullet proof tarps, a little heavy for the size, but overall pretty good. They can feel a bit small if you have a longer hammock (beyond the ENO 10.5 foot hammock). I made a much larger hex tarp for the same weight so the stolen tarp was my loaner.
I also had a 10x10 tarp by the Snugpak people that was a bit heavier but had a lot more coverage for winter. It also is in my loaner nix now.
If the ridge line was a bit longer I would say the tarp was good for most anybody who didn't mind the weight. Take a look at that spec before you decide. I could squeeze an 11 foot hammock under the tarp if I made sure I had plenty of sag.
I've never used one myself, but it's adequately sized for a 10' hammock. Personally I'd try and swing a bit more cash and get a tadpole or mamajamba. They don't cost that much more. If I had to stick to a budget I'd pick up a Kelty Noah 9
For not much more $$$ you could reach a WildernessLogics Tadpole or a Warbonnet Outdoors Edge. However, being a stocked retail item, you will likely be able to take advantage of a 20-30% sale on the ENO product (REI Labor Day Sale perhaps?)
The Profly is the best of the ENO tarps. My experience with the Profly was from 2011-2013. The cordage that came with my Profly was strong enough to weather strong winds but prone to herniate the core. I might consider replacing the lines immediately if I were to acquire one today. While I typically just stuff my tarps, I found that the only way I could return the Profy to the original stuff sack was to fold and roll. This was a bit more time consuming than my experience with other tarps.
Coverage of the Profly: Nice for shade or light spring showers but I would want something more when heavier rains or winds roll in. (Fine for most MN weather but, I have had nights in Glacier NP and The Black Hills, SD that required a more substantial tarp. What is the worst weather you'll expect in your area?)
If your budget will allow an Edge or Tadpole, skip the ProFly. If your budget will only allow a Profly, wait for a sale and accept its limitations.
Good Luck

The ENO Profly is 126 x 76 inches and costs $79.95 retail
The Hennessy Hex is made of the same material, is the exact same price, but its 132" x 103":

Not the lightest tarp out there, but if $79.95 is your budget, its a better option.
Might also be worth it to mention the ENO weighs 22 oz while the WL tadpole is 11.5 oz. and also measures 132" x 92".
That's half the weight for $10 more.

My tadpole weighs 14.5 oz. with no rigging. Even so, I would still try to save a few extra bucks and purchase the Tadpole for the smaller packed size and weight loss.
